The Voice Behind the Diary

THAT I LIVED Original lyrics © 2026 Charlie / …Some Singer’s Diary™. All rights reserved.

Some nights the room opens completely. Some nights you hold something back — and you're not sure if it's the room, or you, or the part of yourself you haven't learned to trust yet in public.

If you've ever felt that — you're in the right place.

This is …Some Singer's Diary™. A living record of what the stage has revealed — about music, about performance, and about the rooms we perform in long after the show ends. Not because I've mastered any of it. Because of this work, I'm closer than I've ever been.

…Some Singer's Diary™ is a living body of work built from music, live performance, original creative writing, audio and digital products, guided journals, and additional creative projects — a place built to gather that work slowly, one piece at a time — as each entry is fine-tuned and shaped by what the stage taught me, what it keeps showing me about myself, and what it keeps revealing about human connection.

It is a way of looking at life through the lens of the stage — where the room, the moment, and the people in it reveal what else is happening during a live show, and what follows us off the stage. Not so we can perform better. So we can learn to notice what is happening in us, hold the room, and stay inside the song.

Whether you are here for a great night of live music, for the performer inside you who knows what it feels like to stand in front of people and manage the nerves, timing, pressure, and connection of the moment, or for anyone wanting to understand why we show up the way we do under pressure — this is the right place.

When it's time for me to go / I want to know / That my freedom is in honest feeling / That I chose to keep on breathing / Not a life unlived or a life without meaning.

The point is that I am here / And that I feel it all / That I show up and answer the call / Not because my life is grand or fair / But because I learned to breathe different air.

What started as a hobby / Became something more / Music and life walked through the same door.

The lens cracked / The moment arrived / That is when I learned / What it really means to not hide.

Most of us are running so fast through the days / We miss what the hard parts are trying to say / This is the space where that story gets told /

Unfinished / Still writing / Still creating my song.

"I cannot explain it. But when you find your pocket, singing sets you so free. And it feels like heaven on earth to me." — Charlie

The Stage is a Mirror

STOP AUDITIONING Original lyrics © 2026 Charlie / …Some Singer’s Diary™. All rights reserved.

The Stage is a Mirror / True, sometimes hard to believe / Some people perform / Some people never leave.

The room knows the difference / Always has. Always will.

The performance has many faces / From broken down to brave / From longing to belonging / From the cradle to the grave.

The Stage is a Mirror / We all play our part / Sometimes before we know the line / Showing up and somehow missing the signs.

The room knows the difference / Always has. Always will.

Stop Auditioning / You have always been you / You just could not see it clearly enough / To let your soul break through.

The Stage is a Mirror, babe / It's been showing you all along / You have always been there / You were always the song.

The Stage is a Mirror is the observation. Stop Auditioning is the invitation — to notice what is happening, stop managing the room, and come back to yourself.

The Living Work

LIVING WORK Original lyrics © 2026 Charlie / …Some Singer’s Diary™. All rights reserved.

…Some Singer's Diary™ is not a genre. It is not a self-help brand. It is not a musician's website with a few extra pages.

It is built from the stage outward.

From the moment a room opens or it does not.

From the two seconds between one song and the next — where you learn whether you can let the song move through you or whether you hold it back.

From the patterns that show up in every room, in every relationship, in every moment where someone is either fully there — or trying so hard to hold it together that the moment slips right past them.

You already know this feeling. It's why the same song can hit completely different depending on where you are in your life when you hear it. Why Stevie Nicks' Landslide can speak to a child being bullied, someone who just lost a person they love, and someone who finally woke up to how they've been living — all at the same time. Not because the song changed. Because you did.

That's what the stage keeps showing me. The song is always the mirror. But it's the artist who decides how much of themselves to let it reflect.

Those observations became the foundation for a body of work.

Music / Writing / Frameworks born from fire / Lessons learned hard / Thoughts for the moments that leave you off guard / A room either opens or it does not / I ask why /

A foundation still forming / A horizon still wide / Something being built from the burning inside.

Most of us are running so fast through the days / We miss what the hard parts are trying to say / This is the space where that story gets told /

Unfinished / Still writing / Still creating my song.

The work is not finished. It is not supposed to be.

Come to a show.
